Its a very long time that I have posted here. The victim is a `49 Merc and I try to make it in a wild Kustom. I have some nice idea`s and I hope that I can realized them in this model. But here some pic`s from the start.     Ron |

Thnx guys. I have done some more work on the Merc not much but... First I have made the cutting line wider some 3 mm and glue a plastic strip of 3 mm in it for more strength. And have put some new headlights on the Merc.    Ron |

very interesting! If I am not mistaken the corvette was fiberglass right? That makes it even MORE interesting and cool because it was not likely done on a real car. Good thinking!  |

Fiberglass Bob? hmmm I did not know that, maybe I made some modifications to to the Corvette parts so that they don't look as corvette parts  Ron |

Mating fibreglas to metal is not an unheard of concept. I'm sure Bob just meant that this particular (Corvett/Merc) modification was probably never attempted in 1:1.
Most anything's game in the model world. You see guys showing rusted fibreglas parts all of the time on beater models.
