Looking good. I always liked light metallic blue for a color. Great choice.

I think it would be easier to cut and move the mounts further forward? ? It is getting a nice flare to it. Looking good. Virgil

A lot of cutting, grinding, sanding to make this engine fit. I'm not sure but it seems that most aftermarket parts are bigger than the kit parts like distributors, carbs and so forth. Maybe the kit parts are not to scale and are smaller. Anyway, here's a few pics of what I had to do to get the engine to fit inside the engine compartment and the last pic is just for comparisons. Top= Gibson Middle=Kit and bottom is Gibson auto tranny that came with the engine. The red tranny is from my parts box so I have no idea what it was from but it fits. One good thing is that everything fits so tight you will not see any of the mod work I had to do. Of course I'll have to repaint some things. All I can say is Fun Fun Fun ;D

The silver tranny is a GM 700R4 from a late model car or truck.

Hay Bro. nice work. The kit is a 1/25 & aftermarket parts are 1/24. a litter bigger. But the build is outstanding.

I wonder why they make them 1/24 when most kits, well at least the ones I have are 1/25th?

It's a tight fit but I finally got the inner wheel wells, firewall and engine to fit. Here's a couple pics. Still need to add some more wiring and plumbing but I think I got the tough stuff done.
