The "new" logo at the top

The new logo is actually old. A former member of the club, JD made that logo for us nearly 5 years ago. Just before I started doing this forum stuff myself...he was building our first forum. JD hung himself and was just a teenager. Many of us knew him well from the internet and it was quite upsetting. He was a BUILDER! He built way more models than I ever did at his age. He was also an artist, musician and much more.
I have always like that banner he made and would like it to be part of our forum like it was in the very beginning. RIP JD

If the banner is not "moving"....then you will need to do some updating to your computer, by going to www.windowsupdate.com

Bob, after reading the letters from people who loved JD, I believe you made the right choice for the header. Thank you for showing me what kind of a person he was. Always remember!!!

I and a few others talked to him quite often, and I usually talked to him everynight....he was always right there to "get the ball rolling" so we could have a website.
He never gave hint that he had problems...other than he openly had schizophrenia.
Didn't hear from him for a few days.....his parents finally answered his email and told me.
He is the second friend I lost to that disease or disorder...

Didn't realize it was done by John. Also didn't know of his demise.
Sad. I remember the fantastic things he was doing with plastic. He had us all amazed at his talent with model bashing.
