Here is what i have been working on, for bout the last 20 minutes, lol. Finally devised a plan and put it into action so the g/f doesn't have to smell the lovely fumes of me painting indoors, lol. I used a medium sized rubber made tote, a $15 bathroom vent fan, a plug end, a 2' pice of electrical wire, and a $3 piece of flex vent hose. It was about as simple as it gets, cut out the back of the tote and pop in the bath vent fan. I used some extra caulk i had laying around to make it more air tight and man does it work well, i can spray sitting in front of it and not smell anything. It has so much suction it will hold the lid on backwards as in the second pic. Just pop the hose out of a window and got to town, i guess it is even portable.

What is the CFM on your fan? I found one at Lowes for $ 12.98. It has a 50 CFM motor. Was wondering if that is enough?

That is an fantastic tip,Gerg!!!I would have it made if I can just figure out how to convince my wife on where to put a contraption in my house! Are there any issues with the overspray paint getting on anything OUTDOORS (like does it get on vinyl siding?) That's what my issue would be,and the most difficult part of my "sell" to my better half. Todd
