I just figured something out with our club fotki , that I didn't
previously know was possible.
This is going to change how we share our photos people!
Don't ignore this, copy and save it someplace in case you need to
refer back to this email!
If you have questions, hopefully they will be answered in this email.
First off, if you don't know where your DPMCC Fotki folder is....then
save this link! public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/
COPY AND PASTE.....if the link doesn't work, make sure there are NO
spaces in the link.
There is a "master" folder called "Gold Members Photos" at the top.
Inside there, you will find your folder in alphabetical order
according to your real name. This is where you will always find your
photos.
HERE IS THE NEWS!
Gold members will be able to load your own photos through email!
YES....THAT'S RIGHT!
Right now, you CANNOT load new photos to ANYTHING.
How can you do this?
1. If you want a new "album" started, just let Bob Black, Marc
Heitkamp or MJ Hundahl know.
WHAT WE MUST KNOW....
We need to know what the ALBUM NAME should be. ie. 1966 Ford
Thunderbird. <-----say that is your new project ok? We HAVE to know
the name of the album. *****the shorter the name of the album is, the
better*****
Once you have let us know what you want the album called, we set the
album for you and then you can start loading your OWN photos hassle
free!
HOW?....
Each album started ie. 1966 Ford Thunderbird, will have it's OWN
EMAIL. Each album will have it's OWN EMAIL. No two albums can have
the same email address.
For example....
1966 Ford Thunderbird album will have an email address like this.
drasticplasticsmcc+bobb1966fordthunderbird@fotki.com <----your first
name and last initial has to be part of the email address, plus the
name of the album just as i have shown.
WHY?
Simple.....because you are not the only person alive to build a 1966
Ford Thunderbird and if two albums have the same email, then i don't
know where your photos will end up.....so it's important to include
your first name and last initial to keep your photos going to the
right album. (if there is two people with same first name and last
initial, then don't worry i will let you choose your custom name)
Now...it's up to YOU to let one of us know when you want an album
started.....what to name it and then you will be able to email your
photos to fotki.com!

From now on, you have the FREEDOM to load your own photos when you
please, so please enjoy this opportunity!
