hello i am new here and i seem to be unable to log in the chat room
i put in my user name and it always comes up error try again. is there something i am not doing right would really like to try this feature

It should work...but just in case, try getting the latest Java version. The chat room is based off Java. www.java.com If that doesn't work just hollar. |

went to java they said it was working fine,tried again still same error

ok if you are using Windows, go to their update site www.windowsupdate.com and see if there are any important updates. it could be some simple things , let me know. |

cant seem to get this every thing says it should work,even tried downloading new version and the help section ,still get this error
i do use the user name that i use to log on here right?

yeah, one thing....your user name may be too long....try logging in with a shorter name? I think you can use whatever name you choose.

i think i should give up now not only will it not work but in the process i must have pushed the wrong button cause now not even the login is visble on this site or any other sites  |

thanks rodburner  i got so frustrated that i turned my son loose on it dont know what he did but in 2 secs he had it up and going(dang do i feel old) thanks again for your time |
