This is going to take me a little more time than my usual. I am building this on commission for a friend of mine , Dean Miller. Dean wants me to build a replica of the original car so it can be given to the original owner/driver of the car as a gift. Dean said he would do it himself, but he doesn't have time since he is the owner of the original car and has been restoring it. Here is what the car looked like running down the track in 1965 or 1966. Here it is today at Dean's place. I am slowly receiving parts and the kit should be here in due time. Everything was ordered and mailed to me, so as things come in the mail....the progress will continue. First came these engine parts, headlight covers and wheelie wheels from Speed City Resins. I have never bought or seen anything in person from them, I have to say this is pretty nice stuff. The stacks are the best I have seen. (thinner walls and completely hollow like they should be) Next came these mags and slicks from Modelhaus today. note-this is not the car, but shows Rafael in it.
