I started this one a couple of days ago. It's a combination of the Revell 32 Ford Roadster and the Revell 29 A Pickup kits. This is just the first mock up picture after a couple of hours work. In trying to make this an easier build for me, (I have a tendency to make a lot of work for myself by doing too many mod's!) so I'll be using the 32 suspension and Ford V-8 motor, pretty much as they come out of the box. The fenders are from the Revell 32 Ford 3 Window as the roadster kit doesn't have them, and I'll probably be using the wheels/tires from that kit too. I'd like to be able to use the "up" top from the 29 on this one but I'm not at that point yet. Gary

It's time to add a couple of WIP pictures I took earlier today. I'm going great guns on this, and it's all coming together like it's one kit instead of parts from three plus a bit of scratchbuilding. The first just show what it looks like before and after I shortened the bed. In total the bed is shorter by just over one foot. These other two shots are just to show what the rear of the cab looks like. Since I took these pictures, I've raised the bed .060 (1 1/2") and bobbed the rear frame rails to just beyond the fenders. I also got the top from the '29 A RPU to work with a little bit of a haircut at the rear bottom. Comments? Gary

I thought I put in this picture yesterday. I took it later in the afternoon. I can take more views if anybody wants them. Gary

I decided yesterday to go with the 32 Sedan flattie. I just couldn't bring myself to put that little Ford small block in the engine compartment. I don't want hood sides anyway as I wanted an engine you could see. Thoughts, comments, anything? Gary

Flatheads are never out of place on a hot rod.

The flathead would give it a nostalgia look, and they are still being put in the 1:1's. I like your concept. Keep up the great work. I will look for updates.
