Needing something to do, I've raided the salvage yard. Came up with most of the parts for a 4WD Jeep that I would never build as such. Old build 32 coupe that I had raped for it's trunk lid PU bed off of something or other (Yellow plastic, Lindberg?) And a wrecker hoist, probably Lindberg also. Will use the Jeep engine converted to a high rise intake. This could be ugli.

you never cease to amaze me to come up with something from nothing. I think I saw photos of a 1:1 like this from way back...I will have to see if I can find them on google again.

Thank you all. A lot of times necessity dictates the route I take building models. I had to lenghten the frame about 3/8" to get the rear wheels centered in the deuce's wheel well. here's a mock-up.

Been a busy week, what with visiting grandchildren from the frozen North and tearing the Mikunis apart, yet again, several times !!! But I did get some fenders on the beast.
