This is something different for me, I'm using a resin body to convert the Bantam Blast into a bug funnycar! Here are the 2 kits I started with: Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

My wife picked the colors for this build. Here is the motor all nice and painted using the new Testors Lime Ice (which is the same color that will be used on the body). Hosted on FotkiAnd here is the frame, its painted with dupli-color nighthawk black pearl: Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

I seem to have been in a funk lately with the model building but last night I got over to the workbench, cleaned off all the non-modeling stuff (only took 1/2 hr) then got some work done on the bug. Finished up the rearend and got the wheels and tires mounted. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiOnly left on the front half is hooking up the steering linkage and I still need to install the seat and steering wheel. The engine is not glued in yet and I still need to decide on the hat for it. Hosted on FotkiAlso did my first test fit of the body on the chassis to check for clearance and any fit issues and wouldn't ya know it, the opening in the hood wasn't big enough so out came the files and now everything fits like a glove.
