cool i like that window shape! The window opening is actually the original from the 2 door. I shortened it and moved it forward about 3/8 of inch. I was going to bring it all the way up to the door opening, but it just didn't look right to me. Thanks guys. Just as a side note. I have been customizing 1/64th die-cast lately ( since I have been laid up), and I am having to re-adjust my filing and sanding strength on the plastic models! Going from filing metal to filing plastic is taking a little conscious effort. And the impatient part of me just can't seem to put the model down for awhile and let things set up! I think I will put another coat of putty on this morning...set it aside and work on the chassis!

Nice combo. Y' gonna use the pro street goodies from the Chevelle ? I haven't really decided yet! But I am leaning a little that way. Kinda torn between doing a full show car custom with flat, bead rolled, under hood panels, etc... or a salt flats push truck/support vehicle. I picked up a couple of Revell Good Guys kits yesterday. The '29 Ford Pickup and the '36 Ford coupe. I am thinking about making one of them a flats car. But then again I am always thinking and will probably just do it as a Saturday Night Street Fighter. I have been looking at a lot, and I mean A LOT!! of the cars featured on here, especially yours, Geezerman. You turn out one gem right after another. I can only hope for one half of the results and quality that you guys achieve!

Looks good! I did the same thing but I cut the front fender clip off the 67 chevelle and welded it to the 66 wagon. I made a 2 door by moving the door post back and carving a new door line. Your way looks better, good job!

Update: Slow going.. I've been a little under the weather. Chassis work and test fitting. I have removed the ridge in the hood. Looks better now.

That REALLY looks sharp. You are putting a lot of work into it and it shows. Keep up the fantastic job. Alex
