29 Ford Rod

Can't call it a rat rod cause it is planned to have a shiny paint job. This is the kit i started with, nice kit so far;

Started to build it straight out of the box but decided, no freakin way!! Chopped the top and threw the fenders out the window. This is my first build of this kind so kinda lost right now, i want it in the dirt so i been looking at several builds on the forum to get an idea on what to do with the suspension and frame. I know i am going to shorten the bed and channel it to get the cab lower than in the mock up pics but after that i am going to have to do some mock ups and get an idea for things. Any suggestions are welcomed!! Oh and not sure on the color yet but i am leaning towards Banner Red.

Nice start Greg. One of these days I'm going to have to give a build like this a try myself.
