This old beast took a lot of my time last year, but I ran out of good weather before I could get it painted. Looking at the pictures you might just notice a few of the things I changed slightly to suit my taste.
I lowered the front and rear suspensions a few scale inches,
the front wheel wells are flared,
the body side moulding has been shortened at the front, and the rest of the body has been dechromed,
a new beltline moulding was made out of .060 half round to replace the original,
the top has been chopped and hardtopped,
the door corners have been rounded,
the trunklid has a frenched and moulded licence plate recess, and rounded corners,
the rear end will have frenched custom taillights and split Pontiac type bumpers,
the headlights are frenched,
the hood front corners are rounded and a more defined peak has been added,
Cadillac Dagmar front bumpers were added to the front end and I'll be using a fine photoetched eggcrate grill behind them,
oh, and I almost forgot, theres a frenched antenna on the right front fender!
That better be it for the outside, but................. .. . ? Gary
