Very cool Adam. While not a child of the 80's I definitely understand your passion for what you like.

... I'm sure that the prices of these will go up in the near future here in Finland as they get a bit older and more people don't think them as daily drivers anymore. I hope they do soon here, because I need to sell mine soon. Sharp Hatch. '91?

Had a little bench time last night and now that I have the rear roughed in it's time to start working on the front. First to go were those goofy turn signals and the the splash pans. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do here. I have plenty of raw material to work with!

That's a clean Fox Mustang! Nice to see one of those in such a flawless condition for a change. At least around here there are many Fox bodies that are quite clean, but definitely not as nice as this one. I'm sure that the prices of these will go up in the near future here in Finland as they get a bit older and more people don't think them as daily drivers anymore. Thanks Niko! It's not flawless but it is clean and well cared for! I am the original owner and it has about 56K on the clock. Around here most of these have been rodded out and run into the ground or just beat up 4 cylinder parts cars. Not many originals left.

Whaaaa no snow ? Hah , pretty cold down here too ! It's good to let the old Fox out to stretch his legs once in a while ! No snow but had a line of sleet move through early this AM. 24 degrees now and the cars outside are glazed with ice. They closed the schools.

Can I start using this thread as a "what did you see on the road today" sort of thing? I see a lot of notable cars out on the road around where I live every day, and I carry my camera. I used to shoot all of them I saw, but I kind of curtailed that...but I could start up again. Its amazing how many classic, vintage sports cars, hot rods, modern day exotics, and just plain weird cars come out here into the (Sacramento River) delta on Sunday drives, club meets or just everyday driving. Anyway unless I hear otherwise, maybe I can liven up this thread on a regular basis, and of course encourage to do likewise. If there is a problem with this please let me know and I will cease and desist. Otherwise I will maybe start up tomorrow. PS: I lived on Guam during the early sixties and on several other SAC and MATS bases around the world. Played out on the flight line with F-100s equipped with nukes scrambling all the time. MPs would chase my brother and I off and we would ride into the jungle on our little stingray bikes. So I too am or at least was used to being around heavy aircraft overhead. These days its crop dusters flying right up to power lines and trees. Thrill a minute! Not something to trifle with though, and if you read certain current best seller, you might get more a sense of dread than I had in those days. jb Go for it JB! Good idea.

Coming along well! Good solution on the engine dilemma, looks like it will work and glad you stayed with the build.

Didn't I see a resin conversion kit for that body style Ford Pickup ? I'm sure I did , just can't remember where . Now I'll have to start looking and probably end up spending more money . . . thanks ! LOL glad to oblige! Not sure if I ever saw a resin of these but if you find one please let us know. I would like to build one of those 4X4's. I really like the purposeful, work like look of them. Do you know if Marmon-Herrington was still doing those conversions for Ford or were they in house by then?
