Beautiful build! Savino's kits seem to be well done. I keep thinking about the Savino's Petty Gran Prix. This build of yours tempts me more

This is the first Salvinos kit I've built and it did go together very well and looks good when built right out of the box . This one like all the others are similar to the original MPC kits since they have the same generic chassis/suspension that aren't really correct for this era of NASCAR . Salvinos did a great job on new bodies and did update the roll cage and other parts , so unless you're real picky they're great kits !

I quit watching the races when the only difference was the headlight, taillight and grill decals with a driver who couldn't turn a wrench in a squirrel cage.
I'm happy just to build something different and I see the variety of early 1970's to mid 1980's stock cars is interesting Monte Carlos. Chevelles, Buicks. Olds and Poncho's make them a definite purchase. Nice to see anything other than Mopar and FoMoCo being made.
