My wife had to have one when they came out. I found her a snaptite model, so I painted it up to look like her car. However, with my wife passing years ago, and I really did hate the car, I decided to mangle it. My wife would not approve, I'm sure, if nothing else, for the color alone. It was supposed to be a bright orange metal flake. More like Copper metal flake. It's just a curbside build no motor.
All I did was cut the rear axle housing to let the slicks fit, filled in the grille, de bumpered it, The red stripe across the back is the tail light. I used reflective tape on it. I can't remember where the rear bumper/exhaust port came from.
My heart wasn't into this model. However, I am working on a 57 Chrysler 300C that's coming along wonderfully.
