Hi Ron, Well, seeing as how my Avatar status is still "Snap Tite", how can I not like it. Both sides look good, but I'm a shade more partial to the no hub cap 36 style rims. Goot Job Mon!

Jim Thanks Jim. The open wheel looks seems to be most popular of two on this one. I do this sometime when I can't decide which way to go with a wheel look. The way I figure it, you can only see one side at a time and it illustrates how a wheel package can change the whole look of a car. Fortunately I always just mount the caps with a bit of handi-tak so they are removable!

I like the open wheel look. Either way it looks great. Just goes to show you can put lipstick on a pig and make it pretty.

Hi Ron, This is the version of this kit that I have. I originally bought it cause I thought it was a redone Monogram (you know the whole Revellogram thing) like a ZZ Top kit. (plus, you got me all doped up on the early Monogram 30 Ford kits, now I'm sitting on 20 of them, and I'm casting those slicks and Sizzler rims thanks to jbwelda ) Then when I got it, it looks like total different tooling. But I think for what it is, the simplistic-ness of it, the proportions, and relatively decent Torque Thrust style wheels, and different things that can be done with it, it's not bad. So not sure why it gets so much ridicule. Snap kits have come a long way since earlier times. Mine is molded in what I think is a pretty nice purple. I plan to do it with silver racing stripes, and clear coat it, sorta like the Lokar Blue Skunk, if anyone remembers that. Jim

Jim Hey Jim, I agree these are fairly nice little kits that look good when "finished". I built the fendered version first and that's what got me motivated to do this one. I don't know why the ridicule either. Maybe because the words "snap" and "simple" just don't sit well with some modelers. Anyway here's the one I did.... Starting here, it's basically the same kit as the others, just painted. Simple sure but I enjoyed every minute of the build over the holidays. Here's a link to my build thread on it. drasticplastics.proboards.com/thread/6080/revell-34-coupe-pro-finish

Hi Ron, I remember this build. I didn't realize it was part of this series of kits. I guess it's true,You learn something new every day, or every hour if you're an active DPMCC member. It came out nice, you should post a pic of your two together.

Jim Yep, never to old to learn something for sure!( I'm not young enough to know everything LOL) That's why I like these forums despite the mass exodus to Facebook. I'd like to get a shot of the two together but they are separated by some distance at this time. I will work on pulling that together though! thanx
