Your extra work really paid off with this beauty ! Lots of little things that I like about it but mainly it's the overall "look" , the subdued colors and stance , that make this one of my favorite roadsters I've seen in a very long time . Excellent work JB !

Thank you Bob, your comment about it being one of your fave roadster really means a lot, especially given how many of these show up. I am glad it stands out from the crowd a little bit, I didn't want to build just another A roadster. I feel like I am almost ready to take on Dennis Lacy, who I consider king of the rods...almost.

Outstanding roadster build JB. I like the color package as well as your attention to detail. Well done!

Your roadster looks really good, JB! Great color choices and engine choice, the early Caddy looks sweet in there. I dig the effect you did on the firewall and dashboard. The stance is also way, WAY better than what Revell did. It sits perfect! Looks nice and tight.

That turned out great! As Bob said the overall look is very nice. In addition to the stance I like that color, it's something we don't see very often in one of these, but it works. The wheel and tire choice is spot on and the Moon tank looks good on front... That nicely detailed engine finishes it off, definitely one of the better builds from this kit!

Thanks for your comments, guys. Sharp, the firewall and dashboard I did with some machine-turned appearance decals I picked up somewhere. I kind of wish I remembered where exactly because I would like to pick up another sheet. They look a little funny but once you catch the pattern they start to make more sense. Until then, they look kinda like that old color tape stuff and I was kind of apprehensive about using them on such a large obvious surface as the firewall, but I think they came out looking pretty good. I also used them on the underside of the pickup bed cover of my blue 34 Ford pickup, so I had some idea how they responded. They responded great by the way, and allow you to even move them around quite a bit without tearing.

Sharp, I dug out the decals and there were clues there: I got them from Alan at whoopiekat decals, Whoopiekatdecals.com they are called Machine Turn On Aluminum, which might imply there are similar that resemble other materials than aluminum.
hope that helps; I might try to get another sheet as well.
