One of the coolest Impala body styles, good to see one built. The color is a perfect choice for it and as always from your bench, everything is very nicely done overall. Personally I don't like the modern wheels and "rubber band tires", but that's just a personal preference of course. Very nicely done Impala!

Well that set looks outstanding on it too. I like the "convertible" aspect of the wheel and tire packages you built into it.

I do like the first pic's. I think bigrim/wheels fill these openings of GM & Mopar 66-73 bodys smooth. Really fan of the colour and think U have made them seats nice.

Hey plowboy, Nice restoration, of course love the color. The different preferences on tire wheel combo is funny, so I'll throw in another. I am a Cragar S/S guy and put them on everything, but I know you kids like the big wheels, (haha), speaking of which, I don't use the modern stuff, so if you are stateside drop me a pm. On a side note, the big rims that come in a lot of current kits, scale out pretty good on 18th scale and some 16th cars.
In 1967 when we left Germany, my Dad ordered a 67 Impala in this color, when we arrived at Mcquire Airforce base in NJ, we took a cab to NY to the docks to pick it up,when we got there they had for us a 1967 Caprice, gold with a black vinyl top. The dealer said "what the F is the difference?" as I recall we had a police escort out of NY. That was the day my Dad became a Mopar guy, which was OK, because in 69 he bought a Daytona and in 70 a Coronet R/T. Me, I'm still a Chevy guy. Then ironically in 74, my first car was a 67 Caprice (that he encouraged me to buy) you can't make this stuff up haha.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments!
Jim, I'll hit you up soon on the wheels! Back in the '70s, my brother bought a '67 Impala SS that had the left quarter panel killed. It had a 327 from a Corvette, 4 speed, 12 bolt with 4.11 gears, factory tach and gauges and a factory 8 track player. All it needed was a quarter panel and paint. He yanked the engine, trans, rear end and console with the 8 track, pulled it out into the field and left it to rot. It was just an old car then. I took out the factory gauges and a few other pieces before it was sold for scrap.
