One of my favorite kind of modeling, these sportsman(?) or stock, pure stock, 1950s to 60s short track racers. I try to build them as it looks like some local boys did, with more desire than money. I grew up about 6 miles away from a 1/2 mile dirt track, and remember this kind of stock cars racing there. 37 Chevy body, frame, etc. Hopped up the stock straight 6 a bit. Cut out the window areas and unneeded fender parts. Replaced stock trunk lid with beer can aluminum, and used a piece to cover the engine as well. Hand lettered it all, except for the usual sponsored decals. Lots of fun fabbing roll cage and bumper bars 😊 John

I'm an admirer of your "free-form" style. I can't think of another name for it. It refers to your ability to get past the basic surfaces and shapes of the model and make them flow and warp and wrinkle in a natural, non-plastic model, way. Depending on the project, the result can be surprisingly realistic (like this one) or surrealistic. But regardless it always seems to be just as you intended and it comes across to the viewer clearly. Great model, this one. Bravo!

Wow that's amazing ! Your work is so realistic , it seems you've got every little detail present , right down to the strap on the trunk lid and baling wire holding the screen in front of the radiator . Very impressive work !
