A gorgeous little hot rod, in any scale. That it's a meticulously executed recreation of the Big Rod in a smaller scale is icing on an already delicious cake. I think this is your best one yet in the great series of Monogram rods you're doing.

This may be my favorite so far . . . but I think I always say that when I finish another one !

That turned out very nice as usual Bob! I really like to see these Monogram Box Art replica Hot Rods built, doesn't matter what scale they are in. I think you did a fantastic job with creating the correct overall look, and I really like how the roof looks on it. Excellent job as always.

I tried to be as faithful to the 1/8th model as I could , there are still a couple of things I would tweak if I could . The interesting part now is seeing how many people don't even know there was a 1/8th scale kit , and I chuckle at how many others think my faux box art is the real thing !

The amazing thing you pulled off was making the finished model appear as if it came out of a box this way! That was a big part of your intent I would assume........besides making a scaled down version of the Big Rod. The scratch built parts were done in such a way that they don't draw attention as being scratch built....if that makes sense? To me, that would be what one should aim for; and you nailed that aspect of it! You really have a gem to add to your shelf now Bob! Thanks for sharing this with us!
