Love how you did up that engine and the rest is totally fab as well. those decals looks sweet against the yellow. I have never seen this kit look so good, a total inspiration. plus one thousand bonus points for not using those ridiculous injection stacks and hot rod engine setup from the kit that might look better elsewhere!

A modern version of an oldie! I saw a few fotos from the era of Opel GTs in rally and racing. Yours is really great, and it took a lot of work to make it work. Excellent paint and decals too. Thanx!

jbwelda: well speaking for myself there are a number of reasons I haven't been participating lately, the most likely one is that I generally do not build much during the summer months. Too many other things to occupy my time. Jul 10, 2024 11:36:30 GMT -5

jbwelda: Second, this past year I have been spending time in Jamaica a lot, I have a winter place there I have shared for years now and try to spend at least a few months there a year. I have few or no model supplies there and other things to smoke, uh, do there. Jul 10, 2024 11:37:48 GMT -5

jbwelda: Third, there really has been very little in the way of models newly released that do much for me. All this reissue sixties junk the USA companies push out I have very little interest in. Euro car kits have been pretty sparse the last couple years. Jul 10, 2024 11:39:17 GMT -5
