You're doing a great job with this Restoration! But I've always wondered how fine grits you have to use when polishing those glass parts? I'd suspect that some tiny scratches could be seen pretty easily if not polished with fine enough cloths?

I start with a grit just coarse enough to remove the flaw then progress up to the finest I have, 12000 then use the liquid polishes to finish it off, then a wash in warm soapy water and sometimes followed by a dip in Future. Not 100% perfect but better than a glue blob!

Just saw this finished on another board , guess I should have come here first . . .
Beautifully done Ron , it looks right out of '59 except it's soooo much better !! I've got a lot of old kits in my stash but am minus this one . Not for long though , it's on my radar . Thanks for the chance to see all of the parts go together !
