Interesting to have it with a plain stock paint look and with that potent Ford (?) engine. I like the gold (?) brass (?) painted valve covers as they fit the near stock look a low budget customizer could afford. Too often the over-chromed engines are too much of a good thing. Also, the wheel/tire combination looks very real and fits the rest of the image. Tail lights are unusual, don't think I've seen those before.

That's the Tri Power 390 that comes in the kit that I dechromed and painted up to look stock. They were available in 62-63 T Birds and Galaxies. This is a 406 but the 390s looked about the same. The tail lights are the cool old Lantern style lights also from the kit.

Classic good looks in every way. Superb choice of colors and detail, along with impeccable execution, are what did it, I think. Bravo!
I wasn't aware of the taillights. I'll have to look in the box of the one I have. They're a keeper!

That turned out very nice! I have the same kit and while the engine doesn't look very good on those parts trees, this build proves that it can be turned out really good! Excellent work overall. I too love that color combo and that stock-ish overall look which is actually pretty much what I'm doing with mine too. Great work!
