Very nice El Camino! '66 is one of the best looking years when talking about Chevelles/Malibus/El Caminos, and you did this one a justice. Never seen one painted in that color before, but it looks very good and your wheel and tire choice is just perfect especially with unpolished spokes on those Torque Thrusts. Nice work.

Back in that period most of us had yet to see a polished wheel!LOL the TT's had usually gray ir black spokes and some of us got creative and used gold, blue (candy) or other colors that would accent the car's color. In reality the outed area should have been dulled down or even done in magnesium.

Back in that period most of us had yet to see a polished wheel!LOL Yep, you're right on that, and I've never liked those "new" Torque Thrusts that are fully polished. Even though they had a normal high profile tire around them and the wheels were 15", somehow they scream modern to me. But I really like how those wheels look just like they are in here.
