Jumped over to the "other" bench - Yep, gots (2) of em! LOL Started working the plug wires, along with body details and more painting for upcoming engine details. Man - for a big 1/16 scale, sure has a bunch of teeny weeny parts! Ha!

Fiddled a little more with the monster, 1/16 Hemi. Fuel lines attached, all sequentially lettered. Getting ready to install the blower, fuel distribution valve and hoses. I call it, "the Spider". Headers coated again, next up, the burnt metal anodizer spray for these! I mentioned on another forum, that I was thinking to "maybe" make and add some flames or something to this build. Just to give it a personal, one of a kind touch. Those guys went nuts, saying yes, yes, yes - do it! Lol, So I played around with some previous blue flame decals on the computer I had, plus googled and found some other ones. Then stretched, drafted and re-drafted, until I came up with these. In no way am I trying to overkill the kits original decals, but just wanted to add something different..... Something that screams "Funny Car" if you will.

Monster Hemi pretty much done, short of touch up under magnification... Man this is one big ass, and cool motor!!
Decals applied, the only ones I used from my custom print out we're on the rear bumper. Now if I can just get the nerve to hand paint the silver trim around the windows, then if needed, use the thin strips of flame decals I made to cover that silver up, (If I clown it up, of which I highly anticipate). Then it's off to polish and clear coat!
Put on the rear end and wheelie bars this morning before work, sat the mighty Hemi in the rails to get an idea of the mock up. The toothpicks you see are what I use, to the ends of the hoses to help them stretch over a few days, makes them easier to attach to the itsy bitsy ports the go to.

Picture came out a little fuzzy, but...... After lines popping off, wheelie bars coming loose, header and blow back line coming off, oil filters needing re-glued, thinking I was gonna pull out what little hair I have left!!!! I FINALLY got everything back where it belongs, and attached the hoses - next up, front suspension

Front suspension / axle finished up. Drag links, steering box, throttle linkage, all these teeny tiny oh so breakable stuff finished up. Hard to get good picks of all the work, but trust me, the work is there - IT WAS NUTS! Literally - itsy bitsy little fragile pieces EVERYWHERE!! LOL And now, it's off to the rear end, then all kinds of touch up / cover up, etc, etc, etc....

Bad picture, my bad, but did want to show the brake lines and brake shoes Here are a couple of shots, before the inner body panels go on, hiding all the hard work Mustard up the courage, and as the front / rear windows, I hand painted the side windows with odel Master Chrome Silver. Today, touch up and readied for the clear coating

That's the way it was! Pretty clean work, very neatly done. Only improvements I would make would be upgrade to braided lines and maybe polishing final body paint. Thanx for the REAL thing!

I wanted to do the braided line thingy, but also wanted to "experience" this build first. I have 2 others, and will do different paint schemes, so next time - for sure, will be replacing / adding braided lines. Just will have to investigate where to get them on eBay, but I am sure they are there somewhere - EVERYTHING is on eBay! LOL As far as polishing, yes sir, that is in-progress, going to do several times until I can get that - "Oh My God - Did you see that!!" look -
