Can't tell a lot from the one foto, but the paint jobs look primo. Not easy to do good work and match decal colors too! Thanx for a blast from the past.

Actually look better in the picture. The blue like all the wrangler cars I have done (have 2 T-Birds) is too dark and doesn't match the numbers. Same with the yellow around the front of the roof on the Monte Carlo. Also wound up with some silvering on the decals. Didn't look like that when I put the bodies in the box after decaling them years back. Maybe wasn't completely dried???

Good looking pair of Stock Cars! To me those decals look just fine and paint work is nice and smooth too. I like them.

Once upon a time in the Dark Past NASCAR was a popular Sport . It was large in the Model Car Hobby in the '80's & '90's . Two Paint makers catered to this Market of Hobbyists . Offering NACSAR Team Official Colors . One offered Paint for schemes using Factory Colors not available to the rest of the Hobby . Before Dave Dodge and his MCW was around . The other supplied non-factory Official Hues . Rattle cans was the only option . Magically enough the kit Decals matched these Paints . One would be more successful finding AMT Lacquer as opposed to these Enamels . During Races and between , the Race cars lost the Show Car perfection . "fixit with whot you got and NOW !" Color matching is out the Door right behind the Repaired Race Car . Leave these bad boys alone . Darrel's Teams were always busy repairing . I clearcoat my Decaled Builds after sitting for a min. of 2 weeks . They stick better (some for 30 + years now) and do not Silver . Darrel would be happy to see these ready to GO .. Thanx ..
