All of those pinholes in your first paint job are called "Fisheyes" and are caused by contamination on the surface and the paint can't stick to it . Any kind of oily film or residue will cause this , even your fingerprints .
It's hard to tell from the photos but in both cases you might be spraying too much paint on the body . Try a really light coat first , let it dry for a few minutes , then spray a couple of more coats until you have even coverage . It takes some practice to get it right !
Can you tell us what brand of paint you are using and are you using any primer ?

Hi thanks bob using Halfords primer and Humbrol enamels, can't see its release agent as I always give them a good wash and anyway the oven cleaner I used to strip the paint off would have taken care of any, I am spraying it at the same time as the Monkeemobile and no probs with that so it's not the thinners or contamination in the ab, as you say maybe it's my fingers next time I strip and repaint it I will wear gloves. Have to get some more black paint first though.

Interesting chemical reaction you have there. I've never seen that. I'm not familiar with the brand of primer you use but it almost seems like the paint was sprayed before the primer had a chance to fully dry and gassed "in" to the styrene? Just a guess. Good luck finishing up your build.

Hi all giving up on this paint job its reacted again, so I'm going to do something different with it. Batman is forgotten all his wonderful gizmos and gadgets have fallen into disrepair, including his trusty old batmobile. That's going to be the back story on this model now. So will start tomorrow with a renewed enthusiasm for this build

Hi all well this is going back in the box and being buried at the very bottom of my stash. as I was warned the decals are awful and do break up but they also dont stick. it must be a draught that moved the decal as I hadnt touched the model when I took these pics. so I have had it with this kit. I was going to do a dio of it on a dereclect street all rusty with weeds growing out of it but with no decals to show what it once was it would be a pointless dio, could be any car with no decals.

I see potential for a custom. Have you thought about it?

Yes I had but no paint job will look good as it will just react again I thought about doing it as a rat rod but I don't think it's the type of car that lends itself to that sort of tbing.
