Cool enuf!! There was an article in one of the periodical model mags on superdetailing, but yours looks great too. Here in the Midwest there is a close look-alike to it that drives to car shows. Always fun. If I were still building I'd luv to do one either as a stock truck for towing a racecar (the open area would be good for spare tires parts etc) or maybe a custom (hot tub in the back) or a Bonneville "lakester," sliced and diced for top end speed. Thanx for your rare build of a famous wheel stander!

This build looks Just Right . Lacking in only the windshield . I would not be embarrassed about anything on this one . Well done and Thanx for sharing ..

John, I saw the 1:1 at several events back in the 60's and only the first time did it have a windshield. The other two no glass and the post removed.

Good job. If that's the old IMC based kit I know it's a tough one to put together and you've done quite well with yours! Well done.

I agree , that's an excellent job on a great but fiddly kit ! Sure don't see these built out of the box much anymore . . . I really like it !
