AMT '70 Super Bee body (an old one postie had played footie with and squished the roof) cut off about a scale 4" behind the doors and a cab rear scratchbuilt. Central hood rib also removed.
AMT '70 Monte Carlo Chassis and Suspension with the hollow rear frame rails filled and the frame for the winch & boom built from 4mm square styrene tube.
Front half of the Monte floor modified to match into the Bee firewall and to fit over the front half of the Bee interior tub.
Bee rear seat modified to be used as a bench seat along with column shift auto (parts box steering column had the shift there so I used it) and a CB from a Monogram Ramcharger.
Tamiya 80 series Landcruiser turbo diesel engine mated to an auto box from my stash (possibly a resin Ford 3 speed from The Parts Box? can't remember) with a solder/Monte exhaust and injector lines (no plugs - I had to wire something!).
Radiator support moved forwards to clear the longer engine and scratchbuilt front inner wings to mate the Bee body to the Monte chassis.
Wheels I think are from Otaki and are like hens teeth. I've had them for years - got them in a box of wheels from evil-bay.
Winch I got from Auslowe (may be made by KFS?) and is a very nice little item which comes with "cable" and a white metal hook.
Boom is scratchbuilt with chains from I think The Parts Box and a pulley I turned on my lathe (eventually - belt breakage and distraction notwithstanding).
Flashers are from the Lindberg Police Charger kit and are a dissapointment. I got the plain car version of the kit because you got about 8 different sets of light bars but they are rather undetailed. I deliberately painted the "glass" yellow rather than amber so it looked like a cheap chinese light bar with dodgy tinting.
CB arial is from the Ramcharger with a guitar string replacing the rather think stock part.
Fire extinguisher is from the Italeri truck accessories kit as are the hammer and jemmy. Coli of cable is just some metallic thread coiled up and washed - can't remember where it came from but i've had it for ever.
Rear 'guards are an ibuprofen pill bottle sliced up and glued with "activator" superglue. Works well but it's a pig to sand as the greasy plastic likes to leave fluffy frayed edges.
Body is painted in enamel (Bermuda Blue IIRC) decanted from a rattle can and airbrushed. Chassis is gloss black enamel weathered by the constant handling of the build process.
I think that's about it. Anything i've left out then feel free to ask.
