The enlarged foto seems to show clear plastic parts not there yet. I think I'd do the interior in either a different color or shade of red. The body trim needs to be either silver paint or Bare Metal Foil. Last, a wash of thinned black paint in the grille will make it look more real. You did choose a good color and that hood is really great looking. I wonder what engine is under it! Thanks for posting the Chevelle. Reminds me of the era's Monte Carlo, which would make a nice addition to your collection. Enlarged foto is very good too!

thanks. i was going to do the interior white but i didn't have enough paint. i tried to post a picture of the engine but it was to big of a file i might go to the hobby shop tommorow and ill get a project to do for the week. i will keep everbody updated with that. and the reason i didnt put the glass in is because i spilt some silver paint on it so i quickly cleand that off and i went out side and started painting over the spots and then i realized i had already put the glass in and i painted that and i couln't get off so i just went with no glass.

In almost every build there's something that goes wrong! That's part of why we're addicted to it. We wonder both what won't go "according to plan" this time, then we pride ourselves in solving these little problems. Life is a different matter! By the way, many good videos on model building around the web, including you tube. Good luck, and thanx!

If you don't know this already you can soak your glass in some purple Super Clean overnight to remove the red paint. Good luck on the Chevelle!

It's good to see one of our younger members is off to a good start. Just try and plan things out. You can always change it later...... like we do

No problem. You apparently are new to it and we are here to help, when asked. Well some of us don't even have to be asked, but we're here to learn, inspire, promote the hobby as much as we can. Who knows, maybe some day, you'll be helping us.

I had a problem of building a beautiful '57 Vette then realized it either didn't come with glass, or I'd lost it. Model became windowless and one of my embarrassments. Things go wrong and when posting pix we confess to probs and mistakes. I know it's kept me humble knowing every model has it's own evil side, thanks!

Sometimes, when you loose a part, you can put out a request for it and some one may have it in their spare parts bin and will give or trade with you. It may take some time, but that's what boxes are for

For my 1966 el comino i am really going to take as long as i can and i am almost finished with the engine and one of the reasons why it takes so long to build is because of school and highschools look at 7th grade.
