Not a weak spot in the build, with seat belts seen in the interior too. Engine is very well done and chrome trim makes it perfect. That Ranchero year is rare and your job really is special, thanx 4 sharing pix!

Thank you very much for your comments ! It is a resin kit from Motor City resins that are sold by Scale Modeling By Chris . He has a lot of cool stuff and I highly reccommend you take a look at his web site . I've posted some in progress photos in the other thread if you want to take a look ! Thanks again guys ! BOB .

It's been more than a year since I posted this build and am a bit surprised it came back up , thanks again ! Edit - Okay , now I see why it came back up . Thanks groundhog , but do you realize that you shoved all the newer posts back to page #3 ! !

One of my fave years for the Torino/Ranchero. Only flaw is the complaint from builders since earliest models, molded on chrome headlights. Not your fault, but a thing easily solved by makers by simply having clear lenses and inner headlight reflectors. Luv your color scheme. I wish the big companies would make more Rancheros and Caminos!! Extra effort in the engine area makes this museum quality.

I think the model companies missed the boat by not tooling this kit and a 70's El Camino , they'd be very popular ! If you look closer at my photos , I drilled out the headlights and installed clear lenses !
