Great build. The profile is especially nice, the rake and the widened back end, combined with the checkerboard paint scheme. really work well together.

Thanks for the compliments guys, The paint is rattle can duplicolor brandywine sprayed over black. The cool can is part of the cooling system in lieu of a radiator. Dimaxion----and would be happy to give you the stude engine if another modeler wouldnt have already gotten it. Never knew those engines were so popular. Give me a BBC please. Drew

Thank you for your response about the Stud Mill . The cool can is what we used on serious competition cars in the late '60's and early '70's . I kinda drifted away from that since . It was a coffee can . The lid was cut off . Of course to use up the coffee . A hole (I think 3/8) the diameter of Fuel Lines in the bottom . The Fuel Line from the tank was atttached (plummed leakproof) , spliced a length of copper tubing and slid through the hole . Some Plumber's putty to prevent air leaking into the bottom of the can . The copper tubing was carefully coiled (no Kinks) the heighth of the can . I don't remember what the top was made from . It had to be removable . The copper tubing was respliced into the fuel line . The fuel went to the filter , Pump and induction system . The can was filled with Dry Ice just before every run . I think the Governing Bodies Outlawed these since . It made the fuel charge much denser . More bang for your Buck . Lower ETs . ;D :)Thanx ...
