I thought that since I had entered this in the MOM I should post it so that you can see some other pics that I couldn't post in the MOM. The story on this build is this. I wanted to build a model of G. Barris Mystique Buick for a while. Had a Buick Wildcat body sitting about and that was all. So I decided to start my Mystique, being concerned as I've never chopped this body style I figured the spare body was no loss should it not work. Long story short, it worked and then I found a resin Mystique and got that , which left my now chopped body free to do something else with. Besides the chop, I rolled the front pan and used the stock grill. The rear is stock, the rear wheel wells were closed for a continuous body line, though when I went to place the chassis (a stretched 67 Impala) under it, I found that the turn under wouldn't allow the wheels into the body, and I ended up cutting small wheel wells beneath the chrome trim. The engine is the Buick with the induction from the Impala fitted to it. The inner wheelhouse in the front are also from the Impala. The paint is Pastel Blue Pearl nail polish over H.O.K. Snow White Pearl The interior is stock. *NOTE* some of the pics are from when it was being built. You can see all the pictures here: public.fotki.com/B67ville/model-cars-1/customs/01031-66-buick-wild/Thanks for looking all comments welcome. Jerry

Great build Jerry. Its almost a shame you chopped the top on it making it hard to admire the interior!!
