Chopped 36 Ford sedan

 Hot off the bench!!  Built from a AMT 5 window coupe and a Flintstone sedan body.

 The paint is a custom mix of two Tamiya yellows and clear coated with wet look.

The radiator support rods are made from piano wire and craft bead ( Thanks for the piano wire idea Bernard )

Windows were airbrushed with Tamiya smoke, Pin stripes are Gofer decals and the engine was also wired.

Beautiful result! That Flintstone body (one of his "rat rod" series - always a bad sign, LOL) is a nightmare, really thick and rough and difficult to fit to the AMT fenders. I struggled with one years ago and managed to finish it. I never managed to achieve the level of fit and finish that you did with this one. A really good looking street rod! Perhaps it was the fact that I included fitting the hood to it. Last year I sold it on eBay as part of my shelf-clearing exercise. It was really well received and well sold. It's probably the aggressive Flintstone chop. But yours looks so much better. I especially like the color and the pinstripe details.

Yeah  Bernard,  that resin body was very thick, it gave my dremel a hell of a work out lol 

Spike, the body came chopped but needed a lot of work.

  After looking at the pics the  front nerf bars just looked ugly and way out of scale and reminded me of shark fins lol

 So I went back with the stock bumper instead, I think it looks much better now.  What do you guys think?

I didn't notice the nerf bars since the body was so striking. Now that you pointed them out, the bumper looks infinitely better. The little bit I've dealt with and seen of the Flintstone bodies, they are pretty crappy. The externals have great looks but the work on the underside is atrocious. Tinted windows are a great choice. It also helps with the entire vibe.
