Well, first off, apologies for the truly dreadful paint job. The Tamiya clear wrinkled the Tamiya dark blue (first time ever, way overdid the first coat of clear) but I decided to not strip it and just plow on. Turned out ok (its not a bug its a feature) from a distance but close up its pretty hard to take. Regardless, I did finish it up. Curbside but has a go kart hidden inside and a few flourishes here and there. Build thread hereThanks for looking and all comments appreciated. More photos posted in my gallery, check it out! jb

I agree that's a really cool looking Stude , Flintstone bodies can be hit or miss so you've done a great job with this one ! Strange about the TS-13 wrinkling . You must have to really lay it on heavy 'cause I've sprayed what I thought was too heavy a coat and never had any reaction to the color . BTW - you're the second person I know that has had this issue .

Really brilliant. I love Flintstone stuff although they all need tons of work! I had the same problem with a bright yellow paintjob on a race Beetle. The paint and decals looked fantastic until I clear coated it and it came out with a severe crackle finish.

Thanks everyone, you are really too kind. It turned out ok but the paint is really a special case, you have to take it as it is or just call it a pile. I am tending toward the latter but I really appreciate the encouragement!
