Build thread here...Finished this one up some time ago, but haven't had a chance to post pics until now. Revell 29 Ford "rat rod" pickup cab on what was a Tweedy Pie chassis. Channeled, lowered, pickup bed entirely eliminated leaving the rear end hanging out there in the breeze. Engine from early AMT kit, had it in my junkpile and decided to revive it. Wheels are the Kelsey-Hayes from the old Monogram Woody I think it was, cheater slicks from AMT's Gas Man Ford coupe. Axles and running gear from variety of sources, some Revell Parts Pack pieces. Tamiya Candy Orange Metallic with orange clear overcoat, the photos do not really capture the lustre of the paint very well. Tractor nose from Maple Leaf resins, and those Woodlake or something headlamps were from the Parts Box, Australia. I scratchbuilt the floorboard and interior panels and covered the door panels with turned aluminum decals, carpeted floor, clear orange steering wheel, etc. Thanks for following the build thread and there are more photos in my ongoing gallery.

Great job bashing all those parts it looks awesome , especially with the bed deleted ! I've used the Metallic Orange topped with the Clear Orange before and you're right , photos don't do it justice .

Really sharp build JB! That orange paint came out really nice, and for a minute there I thought it was Testors Orange pearl. Very cool concept with a great deal of appeal!
