Thanks folks a little more progress, actually about to do final assembly: A look at the scooter and fender: The handlebars, the wires still need a trim because they do not actually go through the fender... Scooter profile without handlebars, you can see the fishtail exhaust pipe I added: Here you see sort of a problem but sort of a solution: the fender sits on the tailpipe I added, but that also raises the rear of the fender up off the back of the frame and allows the seat to sit closer to the fender and makes the entire fender sit flat instead of down in the rear. I kinda like it although it would be better to have the pipe stick out the back or be more visible. Still contemplating, white glue is holding stuff so not permanent. And a look with the handlebars posed, they will actually sit down and upright a bit more once the wires are trimmed. I was originally going to have the fender removeable so you could pose the scooter without it, but the seat and bars are a bit too flimsy for that so I think I will lightly glue the fender onto the top of the frame with white glue so it can be pulled apart if need be but otherwise it will be able to be handled as one piece. OK thanks for looking! jb

That is a cute little thing. A 1:1 would be an awesome thing to putter around the neighbourhood. Your build looks great.
