I really don’t post here much but some of what I build isn’t TRaK related so I want to share one of my untrakable builds. I started with the Amt Superstones Ford F-350 camper special kit. Modified to a short bed pickup.it’s coming along.

This is also what I am looking for the 77 Ford grill for. Just to make it different. I added some flares cut off of an old junk Chevy van and also modifying the windshield area as from the kit it is way off. Removed maybe about 2-3 mm of material to make it look more correct.

Cool idea! I can just make out the wheel arches. Best to you in completing the project, and thanx for posting here. I quit TRAK long ago over their fussiness. One person, who had eyesight problems typed his posts in "ALL CAPS." The site told him to stop it. That was the last straw for me there.

It is getting to be a little stuffy over there. Almost a handful of men show. They should just make their own proboards because it is only like 5 guys builds everyone drools over. I see a little bit of that here already.

Looking good. I like the short bed conversion you did on it. Looking forward to seeing it finished. I like TRaK ok but like alot of others I have many more automotive/transportation related interests besides that. I do admire the talent of many of the TRaK builders though. I've learned alot there. It is what it is I guess.

Cool project. The shortened wheelbase and stance works well with the body lines of the truck.
I hear you regarding a small number of posters showing their progress and finished work. I admit I am one of the guilty ones for having some projects going, but not posting on this board (or any of the others I am following), mainly lurking. I try to capture some pictures of some stuff I have started so I can help clear the "stuffiness". It seems this is a symptom of a lot of the forums: there are a small number of prolifict and/or highly skilled builders posting their work, and it leaves many others intimidated/uneasy about posting their work, because they may feel it does not meet the "standard".
