Very nostalgically cool Bob! Your added features are just right, I love those vintage kits, great to see one done to this standard. Well done sir!

Super cleanly turned out. It really does look like the box art which has this wonderfully compact "hooked up" look to it. It's Lindberg got right about the model and which goes a long way to forgiving it's several toy-like details (windshield, nattowness of the body, etc.), It was never meant to be a replic,a, but rather an evocation of the hot rod aesthetic at the time it was released. The box art promises lots of chrome details, which the actual kit fails completely to deliver but which you skillfully supplied. I assume the remaining yellow stuff is kit plastic, polished where required. The stance, though, is in the DNA of the kit, contained in upswept end of the chassis. It all comes together so well! Rolling with it and not fighting it, some fine detailing, and it all adds up to a terrific model!

You're exactly right about this never being meant as an exact replica but rather to convey the feel of a hot rod . I built this one quick and overlooked a lot of little details that could easily be upgraded to make a really first class model out of it .
