I'm working on the roof rack here it is painted..  And here it is test fitted to my latest project..  The legs on the rack are quite pliable so fit nicely to the roof guttering on each side. |

That roof rack looks very nice. Did you do the printing yourself, or is it from a supplier?

Thanks Pontz. I found the rack on the Shapeways 3D site, they are agents for numerous 3D printers across the world. It's in 1/24th scale, and I also bought a Honda Ruckus custom scooter and a tuned VW Beetle engine, all were made by different printers.   |

Pat,
thanks for the info. I was debating fabricating a rack for a VW project, but will check out Shapeways again. I've been on the site a couple of times, but found it daunting with the myriad of choices.
