Here are a couple of projects that are on the bench. The bus is from LS mfg in Japan about 10+ years ago. The box indicates it is 1/35th scale, truth it's closer to 1/28th. The front end was that of Monogram's '37 Ford. It has since been removed and currently is being preped for the front clip from an AMT '36 Ford. Also, the window directly behind the rear wheel well has been removed shortening the bus. The Bus comes set-up for right-hand drive and requires conversion to left hand for the US. The '37 3 window has been around for a couple of years and just needs to be finished. It's a reworked '37 5 window coupe. The wheels and tires are from the '64? chevy custom pick-up. Pics were taken at the Pacific NW Model Car Fest NNL back in April.

Actually, I found a resin caster who makes the bus body. Being that the original kit is now long gone from the LHS shelves, the resin body wouldn't be a bad way to go for anyone wanting to do something similar. Here is the link. The bus is listed under "Bodies". They have it mocked up with a '41 Ford front end, but just about any 1/24-25th would work, just depending on your preferences. escort500xl.hostrocket.com/The paint on the 3 window is Plasti-coat Nissan red, off the top of my head I don't remember the code number. The bigest thing with it is it just needs finishing. So, I guess a swift kick in the backside and it might get done.
