Ok... for those not familiar, but here in Australia, the ol' Meat Pie is the equivalent to the Hot Dog in the U.S. Peter's Pies dominated the fast food preference from early 60's to late 70's. So I wanted to put something together with that theme in mind. So I dug out a Revell Thames Van kit and went to work. "Simple Simons" pie drag van turned out a little different. I wanted the traditional delivery van look , but with a "Sleeper" in mind. Converted to R/H Drive and driver's door hinged to "suicide". Rear 2 outward opening doors converted to single lift up door, with custom rear window. Front fenders cut away and glued to flip bonnet to make a full "Front Tilt Bonnet". Standard wheels and tyres fitted to give the van the "Sleeper" look. All decals (signage, roof and floor panels) were home printed on to decal paper. Exhaust extractors, mufflers etc. were scratch built. Thanks for looking in... Comments + and - always welcome. "Jezza"

That is totally kool and I wish I had a meat pie right now!
I did something similar with the kit and made a Lotus garage delivery van, with a twin cam Lotus engine under the bonnet. Both yours and mine look a lot better than a jacked up gasser like the kit provides.
Great decals too.

These always look good with a tough street rod stance. Nice job!
