G'day once again... here is "Sally", another of my earlier creations (built in 2016), but recently she's had a little makeover.
I originally had her finished in plain gloss silver with black chassis, but recently decided to give her a colour makeover. Now painted in Auto laquer "Sparkling Silver" with a yellow chassis. Also added the "Custom" panel lines that were home printed (inkjet) onto clear waterslide decal paper. Finished with 2 coats Polyurethane gloss clear.
When originally built, the body was widened 7mm (5/16") to accommodate 2 bucket seats. New chassis was built to suit. Rear square window hole was filled and an oval shape cut out. Windscreen and rear oval window glass were cut from a clear CD case. Side & rear glass was then sprayed with a light coat of Tamiya Clear Orange (TS-73). Rear mudguards & dash panel are from a '32 model A kit.
I hope to add chrome rear axle stabilizer bars to "Sally" when they come to hand. Anyway here's "Sally".... Constructive criticism welcome as always.

Once again, nice color combination. I like the body mods. And the round rear window is cool. Your C cab is also very nice. I know you asked Bob, but here in the USA, Florida is the Sunshine State. Even though I live in Arizona and we have more sunshine than most people can handle LOL. (it was 109 degrees yesterday) But I can ride my Motorcycle 350 days a year. keep up the good work Jim Richards Tucson, Arizona public.fotki.com/Jim-Richards/

G'day there Jim, thanks for looking in and your comments. Many interesting things to see in Arizona I believe, and lucky you to be able to get around on your M/C. Is that your bike in your avatar mate?...

Thanks Jezza for your nice reply The bike in my avatar is a 1/8 scale model (see more of it on my fotki) public.fotki.com/Jim-Richards/This is actually my daily rider, 2005 Harley FXST, that I bought new. Yes Arizona has some beautiful riding areas (as does Australia from what I have heard) I almost went there in the 1970s to work, but feared my boss would strand me there, which would have been fine except all my cars and motorcycles would have been back in the USA haha Your friend Jim

Hey there Jim, nice ride there mate!...15 years old and still going strong I bet. Talking of Motorcycles.... I bought a sad looking neglected 1982 Yamaha XJ750 about 6 years ago. It took me about 13 months to restore the Ol' girl.... Sadly due to health issues I had to sell her about 3 years ago. How she looked when I bought her. Just after her Paint job After 13 months... Final stripe work and She's done!...
