This was a reminiscent build from the 50's and 60's when I was a kid growing up in SoCal and seeing cars like this on the street. I was driving a 1950 Mercury I built with a 1953 Chrysler HEMI with dual quads and all the speed goodies.
It was a wonderful time of cruising on E street through the original MacDonalds hamburgers on Friday and Saturday nights, and listening to WOLFMAN JACK....AAAAOOO.
A crazy fun time for great memories of friends I cared so much for, and just spent time enjoying life together.

That's a great looking car Dave!! I'd sure as heck be happy with that outcome.

That's excellent! Sled stance is perfect. I saw this on an old 50s teen movie. I think it was called "The T-Bird Gang." The gang leader drove a T-bird. 49 -51 Ford. Seems like lots of custom work. I wish the pics were better. There was a piece of chrome trim on the front door that they would turn, and the door would open.
