Not that I need another project but.... I've always wanted to build one these so I took it down from the shelf and dug in. Going to use the kit custom parts and whatever else I can use on it that will look cool. No, it won't have wood on the sides. Comments and suggestions welcome!

Have this kit and will be interested to see how you do this one. Haven't ever seen it built as a wagon, but a Hurst comes to mind.

I assume it's a new reissue? Dunno how a custom wagon will come out. Should be different, fer sure!

I picked that one up at Big Lots several years ago for $5.00(when they used to be fun to go to.) Turned around and sold it on eBay as I forgot just how relaxing building models again could be. I wish I still had it.

Spent an hour or so cleaning up the parts and trying to come up with some ideas. It has a nice engine option as well.

It's coming along quite nicely especially those wheels, very cool. Any ideas about the color?

A cool looking color but just something I didn't like about it for this car... So..... a round of wet sanding with 1200 & 2000 grit.. After a rinse and dry....starting over Any suggestions on a color for it?

I would stick with the gold but do the roof in black or even simulated vinyl,it will make all that chrome trim around that greenhouse pop! And with the chrome band on top of the fenders and wheelhouse molding will tie in nicely with those beautiful wheels. The interior will be on full display under that rear glass so something like off white or beige, no wait....

I thought about the black but I wanted to avoid the "hearse" look. I've already done the interior in a metallic steel color so I'll need to come up with something the play with that. Probably go with a metallic silver roof, not sure about the body yet.
