After a little break from building I thought it might be time for a couple of teasers pics of the mock up I did a few hours ago. It's getting there. Tommie

scaleracers.inventforum.comThere is an english section of the forum, but that is more or less dead. But if you browse the sections "Projekttrådar" and "Bilder" you will see some pretty neat builds. I believe you will have to register, though. Tommie

Thank you RodBurNeR. I have to admit that builds in this particular style really is not my cup of tea, but I thought I should use the Pegasus wheels that I bought a couple of years ago finally. What also helped was that the chrome on one side was very poorly cast and it would have taken a lot of effort to save it, so I shaved it instead like the common porn queen. Originally I intended to use the wheels in a hi tech build of a Delahaye that I bought at the same time. I have never gotten around to building that though. And for those of you who don't know what a Delahaye looks like, here's one: I have the Heller kit that comes in another box, but the kit is the same. Could make the base for a cool rod I think. But that will have to wait. Tommie

I haven't felt like building much on this this past week since I have started working again after a 2 month vacation (I am a teacher). But today everyone I know seems to be either out of town or doing something with somebody else, so I got to work for a while. Two hours and then a splitting head ache stopped me, but I got a lot done. Not much remains now. The main thing is to detail paint the dash (which I am not looking forward to and that might delay this build further if I know myself). Then it's pretty much done apart from the final assembly of course. But I should have it done at least by the end of next week if nothing unforseen happens.

Thanks guys. I forced myself to actually get something done today and finally finished the interior. It does look better in reality. The camera tends to show all to clearly all the tiny little mistakes and shaky lines. But it looks OK to me. At least I will not redo it. Tommie
