This plane (??) looks very aquatic to me. Like an anglerfish, mouth agape and even has the "lure" above the mouth. It IS cool!

Well guys, Ekranoplan planes fly about 20 feet above the water on a cushion of air that the plane creates. This was a design X-Plane. Various other aircraft are Ekranoplan, all built by Russian firms. We were on holiday off Greece or Turkey a number of years ago and the multi-engined ones were used to fly tourists to and from the mainland. It's all because I look for the weird and wonderful.

After waiting 6-12 months on backorder I'm told it's in the post!  When our youngest son was 21 we took his Beetle to a specialist 911 builder Frances Tuthill. He did suspension/paint etc to make it ready to show in the Cal-Look class. Two of these were in his workshop along with about twenty other 911's, 914's, and 365's all being restored. His son Richard Tuthill still supplies classic 911's for racing and rallying. |

Our eldest son (53) in Calgary sent me a LEGO E-Gift voucher for my birthday last week (74). After buying online the box arrived a few minutes ago from Belgium 3 days later. The kit has 1106 parts, and box is 19" long 11" wide and 5" deep! These large kits always come with a free gift. In this case some flowers!   |

Yes mod3llover. An unusual choice but that's just me. We were on holiday a number of years ago when we saw a wave skimming Ekranoplan 4 engine jet aeroplane, flying from the mainland where we were to a number of islands. But I can't remember where! They were all Russian built and to sell to anyone.

I'm not a Prowler fan at all, but I got this extremely cheap from Marketplace and I like the trailer. I had mentioned to another potential buyer that questioned something about this, that the seller is an upstanding, honest seller. i bought the car, and to my surprise, he included this GTO model for free.   |

OK yes I've bought another one. That must be number 7 or 8 all in various colours with various decals! All because they were built just 20 miles away by WRC car builders Prodrive!  |
