Not kits this time but decals. I found these last year on ebay UK and they are Nail Art! Scale size around 1/24 -1/25, prices range around £1.25 to £1.75, per sheet. So I bought more Ice Creams/Palm Trees (Both Black & White) and a new sheet of Coca Cola/Fanta/Pepsi Cola and other soda's/lemonades, like sponsors. I've used some on The Ice Cream Truck and recently on The Cream Cycle Trike. Good quality and a good price.

Well, while not a model, I was LOOKING for models when I found it at an antique store. I think it's Heritage Mint, so something like that. I have the 40 Ford sedan to build, so this saves me the time of building a coupe.

A friend of mine went to his hometown of Carpentersville, IL. a few weeks ago, and while in Wisconsin at a swap meet, picked these up for me. He called me from there and asked if I wanted them. I asked how much, and he said "none-ya." I have a feeling he paid too much for them.

After waiting since January this year this has arrived. After hearing that Airfix were looking at re-issuing a range of 'Vintage Classics' I ordered one, seeing it in the flesh I've ordered another! In my latest regime the body in grey plastic won't be painted and will raised up off the chassis for more ground clearance. I now have a second one!

Just found off of ebay UK, perhaps too outlandish for most of you, an Atlantis Groovy Grader previously produced by Monogram some years ago, but now re-released..

Glad you enjoy that one Pat, what cracks me up is that "Daniel Intellectual Properties" line...on a "groovy grader". So...funny, I guess the word would be.

As some may know, I’m kinda hung up on the ’32 Ford, specifically the Revell series of kits, which I use for what seems to be an endless series of Old Skool modeling projects – on the order of at least one every 6 months. Ridiculous, I know… In any case, this means I’ve always had to maintain a stash of these models not only for their bodies, but for all the chassis and ancillary parts that go into these projects. Things can get pretty unwieldy as I pilfer parts from a new kit and eventually need to buy yet another kit just because I’m out of small but critical parts like headlights and headlight brackets or frame rails. A couple of weeks ago this amazing offer came up on eBay: The seller did an incredible job showing what was in the box. Actually, there was far more than he showed but his effort was first rate at showing the nature of what he was offering. The opening bid was $10.00 + $20.00 shipping. Needless to say that, with at least three 3-window coupes, three 5-windows and four roadsters along with 9 chassis and countless full and partial parts trees it was worth a shot. It would be a long time before I would have to buy a parts kit if I prevailed. There were 14 watchers so I hoped that the bidding wouldn’t get silly or I would have to beg off. As it turned out we were all very disciplined and the first bid only showed up with about 12 hours to go and most of us held are fire until the final minutes. Obviously I got it, and a week later a huge box showed up on my doorstep. As I said the photos, only some of which I posted below, didn’t do justice to what was in the box. I would say for a typical part that is shared by all the versions, such as a rear axle or small size front headlight, there are at least 14 examples included, and often far more. The only downside is that the seller had the odd habit of super-gluing the chassis to the fenders or body when first mocking up his project. And, as it turns out, he didn’t glue lightly. I haven’t been able to find a way to break these apart. (After some internet sleuthing I found that I could debond the fenders using MEK and this afternoon I liberated the four fendered chassis.) But no matter, this stash is enormously useful. The only versions missing are the Dan Fink Speedwagon and the Tudor. In many cases there are whole chrome trees that are sealed in their original bags, but, as the photos show, there are just as many trees, chromed or otherwise, that are well picked over. However, on the basis of shear volume who am I to complain? My needs are supplied for some time to come! Of course the plastic trees themselves generate a huge storage problem so I’ve spent time over the last few days breaking them up and classifying and bagging individual parts. I should be able to get the results stored in 3 to 4 standard model boxes. Here are a few of the photos the seller posted:

Grrrreat score Bernard !!! I remember seeing that listing and thinking if I were really into 32's that would be worth going for . Not that I don't like the '32 , I just don't seem to build one very often . Glad you were able to get it , you'll definitely put those parts to good use !

A Monogram 'il Coffin. From ebay here in the UK for £10 as it is already used/started etc, as you can see it's in bits. The owner painted most things gold and tried to stick the chrome parts on top of the paint, but also without removing the chrome plating. I'm stripping the paint from the back axle/driveshaft and the engine block as most of the chrome parts began to fall off once I handled them. The hinges on both the doors and body are broken in one way or another and I will try to replace them. PS How do I get rid of that emoji? I've deleted it in editing but the 'D......thing' comes back! Oh and anyone know where I can get some build plans/instructions from please? It crashed and burned! I don't know what glue they used, I could neither take it apart nor add anything to it! There were two headers and two doors but only single parts of anything else, it had to go and has.

It's in the wash! When I've finished re-building a glue bomb 'ill Coffin and a new Heller Renault R4 I can get on with this! I've seen pics of many builds and the colour changes builders have made of this kit, I'm contemplating colours etc. I must find a wired distributor to start with.

Goodwill by the Pound store in Maine had a box of model kit remains, this was in the bottom. I mainly wanted the cases, but the 32 has some potential. pretty decent interior set up for late 60's, Chevy 409 with tri power, resin cut down rad shell. The box with 10 cased models was $10. Worth the trip. Paul
