I just joined up and this forum does not seem very friendly.I posted in the intro thread and my latest project and get no responses whatsoever!Sheesh!First time this has ever happened to me for sure!

Don't be too upset , it's not intentional . All of the forums are pretty slow right now . When things slow down around this time of year everyone tends to not visit as often and it just makes things worse ! I'm guilty of this too , I haven't been here for more than a week , just busy with other things .
There's a great group of builders here with none of the bickering that goes on other places .
Welcome to the forum and please give it a chance !

This is a great forum with great members, don't fret. It's a bit slower sometimes as a lot of these guys are busy at the bench and with "life".....but when they post it's worth seeing.
I am guilty....
I am in process of moving out of state and barely taking time during my transition to look at forums. I will be back to normal soon I hope.

I will speak for myself . I rarely look at the new members catagory . I am on Dial up and visit many sites daily . I have only so much time to do this . Choices have been made . I am a disabled shut in . The Mis'uer 'Puter is now 7 years old and crankity . I just got it back "from the Shop" the second time this year .
So , welcome . I do make comments and now I perhaps , after more than a year , am able to post pics here (part of the reason it went back to the Shop) . I recall your name here or am I confusing you at a another Model Car Site ? I do make comments and visit here when Mis'uer 'Puter permits me . This is a good place to be . Thanx ..

Welcome,,I dont think its anything personal to you,,I have the same thing happen to me many times on some other sites,,sometimes I may post and get alot of responses right away,,sometimes Ill post and for 6 months nobody says anything. Its all about timing,,and whats going on with everybody else who goes on any site people could be doing work on there houses,,family stuff,,could be out of town on job stuff,,ect. |
